The Brothers consider their intellectual and spiritual formation as religious to be a lifelong process.

To this end, they all participate in a variety of annual personal and community growth programs and events within both the District and the larger Institute.

Below is a full list of Brothers’ gatherings and events throughout the year.

Brothers’ District Days Annual gathering of Brothers to discuss a topic and celebrate with Mass and dinner the lives of Brothers achieving milestone Jubilees.

Brothers’ Retreats. The Brothers have the opportunity to attend two District retreats, normally during Holy Week at Mont La Salle and during a week in June. The retreats allow time and space for prayer, discussion, and community. One day retreats to meet the needs of Brothers in specific regions are also organized.

Regional Gathering of Brothers in Initial Formation. Men in initial formation as Brothers are Postulants, Novices, or Brothers in a period of annual vows. They gather once a semester for a weekend to discuss a topic and share their Brotherhood as they come to understand and internalize their vocation as Brothers.

Fall Forum. Designed mainly for the older Brothers of the District but open to all Brothers, the Fall Forum provides a time for the presentation and discussion of a topic. Gathering for lunch and prayer also add to the experience of Brotherhood.

Jubilee Celebrations Jubilee years mark particular dates since a Brother received the habit of the Brothers and follow increments of years traditional to the Brothers.  Each year the District celebrates those Brothers who are having a jubilee year.  See this year’s Jubilarians.
