Cristo Rey De La Salle East Bay High School in Oakland, CA has been selected as a finalist for one of the prestigious 2025 East Bay Innovation Awards.
Often called the “Academy Awards of the East Bay,” East Bay EDA’s annual event celebrates organizations that contribute to our region’s legacy of innovation.
Cristo Rey De La Salle is one of 22 finalists from a field of over 100 applicants. The school is being recognized in the “Community Impact” category for, in part, “advancing bold and equitable solutions to create and cultivate economic opportunities for East Bay communities to thrive. Examples include those engaged in uplifting marginalized communities through arts & culture, education & workforce development, and/or addressing environmental challenges.”
In a press release, the school stated that the recognition serves as “a testament to our unique educational model and the transformative work happening every day on our campus. This recognition reflects the dedication of our entire community – students, faculty and staff, corporate partners, donors and supporters, and families.”
The awards ceremony will take place on March 27, 2025, at the Oakland Scottish Rite Center.
