She also has been a member of the Board of Trustees of St. Michael’s High School since 2015.
In announcing Romero Kilmer’s appointment, Board Chair Miller stated, “Her tremendous experience in the classroom and as an administrator, along with her intimate knowledge of St. Michael’s High School’s mission and values, make Leslie an ideal selection for the Interim President role.”
“I am humbled and honored,” Romero Kilmer said, “to serve as the Interim President for the 2020- 2021 school year at St. Michael’s High School. I am passionate about the opportunities that St. Michael’s provides to meet the needs of our young men and women in the greater Santa Fe area through a strong Lasallian education. I am looking forward to collaborating with all stakeholders at St. Michael’s High School to ensure that every student is academically, spiritually, and emotionally prepared to succeed in the twenty-first century.”
According to Miller, the Board of Trustees will begin the search process for a permanent school President in the coming weeks.
